there's no school again today because of promotion day.whoopadeedoodoo.so now i'm at home,blogging.
had the second round of the moneytalk game yesterday.this time,we played with businesses and unit trusts.pretty complicating but it was fun.angeline and i had the least amount of money after the game,again.after that had the barang barang sale.my class stall didnt do bad.infact it did great!we collected the most amount of money.$122.and that was just counting the sales we had before school was over.i dont know how much money was collected after school because i didnt have that shift.i was the treasurer along with ain and the both of us and amirah and pron manned the stall while the rest of the class went for the recycling talk in the hall.and boy was it boring.although there were a few teachers who bought our stuffs but it was pretty much boring.i was half asleep.so then me and ain and amirah decided to rehang all the batiks to pass the time.i was really sleepy yesterday.then went for french class.pretty boring too.mlle lim wanted us to give feedback on french class.and then she went throguh the DELF paper.although i didnt really see the point in that because most of us werent taking the exam.anyhoo,i was still sleepy.infact so were most of us.it didnt help that it was really cold because it was raining.i almost fell asleep when athirah called my name.i decided that i'm not going for french this wednesday.its just a film festival where we just watch a movie.nothing important so im not going to waste my time.id rather come home and sleep.
i had a freak incident in the toilet on saturday.i was in the toilet when i heard some kind of noise.so i looked up at the wall and saw the biggest cockroach i've ever seen in my entire life.i screamed and thought that i was really going to die.so then i got up from the toilet seat and was contemplating what i should do,take my shorts and run out or just leave it and run out since my shirt was long enough to cover what needs to be covered.then the bloody freak disappeared.and i got really scared wondering where it was,behind me,ON me or what.then i saw it crawling on my shorts and i decided to just run out.so i opened the door and just ran out.i told my dad about the stupid pest and he asked where it was.i was so scared i forgot how to say shorts.and after that i was shivering for like a pretty long time.it really freaked me out.just thinking about it still gives me the shivers.
i'm pretty sure i saw a shooting star on sunday.i was looking out my window in the night and was counting the number of stars when i saw this bright silver spark fall.i was like "was that a shooting star?" anyhoo,for the fun of it,i closed my eyes and made a wish.lame i know,but hey,who knows if its for real.
anyway,i've already bought my baju for raya.went to geylang on sunday.my mum,sis and i went to first lady in the tanjong katong complex on the second floor first to see what kind of bajus they had.it was pretty crowded and the bajus werent really nice.there was one particular baju that i liked which i saw on a poster.tried to find it but couldnt.so then we went round and round to other shops browsing through all the bajus.im pretty picky when it comes to buying things so it was quite difficult.everytime i saw something i liked,there was either no size,no colour that i want or was out of the budget.so then we went to the first floor and into the other first lady shop.and after searching for more bajus and were about to give up,i finally spotted the baju that i saw in the poster.and they had the exact size and colour i wanted.boy was i happy.so then i went to try on my baju in the fitting room while my mum and sis went looking for my sis's baju.so then i came out of the fitting room because the lady was going to teach me how to tie my sarong.i was wearing jeans beneath it mind you.then i looked up and found everyone staring at me.i was pretty scared,i started wondering if i looked stupid or something or forgot to wear my top.but i checked everything and realized nothing was wrong.so i was frantically scanning the area for my mum and sis while wishing the poeple would quit staring at me.pretty frenzy.still wondering why they were staring at me.probably because they've never seen a gorgeous lady.hah!=)) my baju was a little over the budget.$70!but it was worth it.i really like it.its black and i've always wanted that kind of kebaya.i'll try to post a picture after raya of me in my baju.
im gonna go now.going to help my mum hang up the curtains and all.so yeah.till here.au revoir people.
