Hanis's lovely brownies.

JALAN RAYAAA! Mucho love!

I miss my Pasir Ris friends much.And yesterday was nothing short of a fun time.All our jalan rayas have been nothing short of fun.And because we've been raya-ing for a few years already,we've got our very own raya traditions.My house will always be the meeting point because it's the most central.Zaf's house will always be the house with the yummy lasagne and Moo's house will be the last because it's the furthest.We didnt get to uphold two of our traditions though yesterday.We didnt go to Moo's house last because Zaf's house is now the furthest and we didnt get to eat the yummy lasagne but we ate fish and chips instead which was just as good!We went to 9 houses altogether and I shall do a brief description of each.

1)My house,the meeting point.Everyone was,let's say, fashionably late except for Syam who was very punctual and never let us forget that fact. (: Well there's nothing to oooh and aaahh about my house because I live here and am used to everything.So moving on.

2) Sakina's house.I just love her house.Expecially after the renovation.It's so white and big and just like one of those homes you see in them house magazines.I love the Koko Krunch and Cornflakes biscuit and her couch!We parked our asses there and watched Desperate Housewives.Then it started to rain so we hurried to the next stop.

3) Dian's house. Continued watching Desperate Housewives while eating chicken nuggets.I like Dian's house too.It's so homey and cosy. And Dian let us try the MnM cookies which she made.It was good,really. Fab job Dian!Next time you can open up your own shop! (: And I liked her cookie containers. They look like your typical plastic containers but their covers were different.It had little shells glued on them and I told Anita that I knew someone must have done that.And I was right.Dian said her mum is the one that glued on the cute little shells. I knew it!And it was here that Anita came up with the phrase of the day : "One person take,everyone else takes" because when someone took a kuih,the rest would start and the feasting would begin.

4)Hanis's house.Now this house is famous for the brownies.As soon as Hanis laid them out, 8 hands reached out and grabbed them and in the blink of an eye,WHOOSH!All gone!When she refilled it,those same 8 hands reached for them and in another blink of an eye,they were all gone as well!By the time Hanis refilled it,again,we pretty much had had enough of it.Hanis's brownies are a tradition in itself.Absolutely delicious!

5)Syam's house.We pretty much started going nuts here.Especially when we started eating the samosas and potato wedges which were darn good by the way.We devoured that like bloody pigs,I tell you.And this was when we came out with the word of the day : "Loser" because somehow or the other,someone did something that was so loserical.(is that a word?)

6)Anita's house.She also had MnM cookies which were also,delicious.We watched Britney and Kevin's Chaos.It was sickening really especially since the episode was on their wedding and we all jolly well know that they're so over now.Anita's mum is so cool la.And her neigbour,Chloe who had come over to watch cartoons was so cute!

7)Alia's house.I.LOVE.HER.HOUSE.She stays at Ris Grandeur and it's got a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi which Syam kept pronouncing as jazzuci.Moo and I walked in the pool while walking to her house.And her house is so gorgeous!There's a secret room which is absolutely perfect for playing 7 Minutes in Heaven. (: We laughed so much at her house because we started telling each other tongue twisters and well you know how it is when people keep mispronouncing things.I love her house man.

8)Moo's house.NACHOS!Moo always serves us nachos with cheese and chilli and like the bloody pigs we are,we of course,devoured it all.Zaf was so mad at me for taking all the cheese.And as usual,we played at her swing where Anita and I made a new friend.Some guy,whom we named Earl, (dont ask why) kept making this screaming noises and for the heck of it I followed.Then it started to be competitive,seeing who could scream more and longer.I won many rounds,non Anita? (: We kept asking Earl to show his face but I suppose he was too cowardly to do so.I think that's why I have a sore throat now.I screamed too much.

9)Zaf's house.I.LOVE.HER.HOUSE.TOO.We cam-whored in the bus on the way to her house.Her house has this huge swimming pool as well and it just made my urge to go swimming even stronger.I havent swam in ages!We had the yummy fish and chips and the mayonaise was so globby.It totally amused Zaf and I.

Well that was how we spent our day.Tomorrow is the second day and I hope my sore throat makes a miraculous reovery.Would you believe Dian didnt know what a wedgie was?
