The reality of O-Levels has finally sunk in.I always thought it'd be next time,not now but next time,a time far from now.But hell,with my seniors,people I know taking them right at this very moment and me taking by Biology and Chemistry SPAs as well as Malay,the reality has finally sunk in.I took the Biology SPA yesterday and Malay today.They were pretty okay though I was fretting so much.I can't even begin to imagine how I'll feel next year when I take the major papers like Math and Bio and Chem.And my O-Levels are in less than a year.That's bloody freaking fast.But I refuse to panic.Well not now at least.Next time.

MONDAY 22ND OCTOBER - Black Eyed Peas Concert.

It was totally awesome!The Click 5 did an amazing opening act.Though I think Kyle doesn't sound too good when he sings songs previously sung by Eric.Like when they played Just The Girl and Catch Your Wave,it just sounded different.Eric's voice is really high and Kyle's wasn't.Nevertheless,they were awesome.They went crazy on stage especially Kyle and Ben,jumping around everywhere and they got the crowd to stand up when they played Disco.They played for a full 40 minutes before Black Eyed Peas came on.And BEP played an hour extra.The concert was supposed to end at 10 but ended at 11 instead.They too were incredible.Fergie was so cute and Will.I.Am was so funny.He said and I quote " I love Singapore,I love how you can't litter,I love how you can't chew gum,I love how you have to smoke in enclosed areas" and so he went on.BEP sang songs from all their albums.Fergie sang her own songs and Will.I.Am sang his single I Got It From My Mama and Apl sang a Filipino song to which the Filipinos in the seats in front of us started dancing to and screaming along.Sheesh,some people.After the performance,Will.I.Am announced that the concert was over and walked off the stage.The stadium lights were all still off and I was kinda surprised.Everyone wondered how it could just end like that,some even started leaving.Others started chanting for an encore and then suddenly we heard the sound of a trumpet.And then the BEP came back on and sang Pump It,which starts out with the sound of the trumpet.And they sang 2 other songs before finally leaving.The concert was worth every 150 bucks I paid.I love the Black Eyed Peas and Click 5 even more now.My arms hurt from waving them around so much.

TUESDAY 23RD OCTOBER - 3/3 JALAN RAYA

We didn't have school cause it was Promotion Day.It was a pretty huge group,there were 14 of us.Xiao Qi came along,wearing Syam's baju kurung.She was Bedah bte Abdullah for the day.She actually went to kiss the hands of our moms and they were all shocked.It was hilarious especially when she decided she was hot and took off hte baju kurung and walked around in her shirt and shorts and still went to kiss the hands of the moms.She's so cute,she is.I'd say it was a great day.From camwhoring to crazy cab drivers to spilling food to gossiping on the bus to dying cameras to some people running down the stairs to press for the lift on each floor so that those of us who took the lift would have to stop at every freaking floor.Some of us left half way through and the whole jalan raya ended at around 10,having visited TWELVE houses.Beat that.Hannah was timekeeper and made sure we spent no more than half an hour at each house so that we could visit as many houses as possible.I still like going to Mdm Azizan's house.She's my favourite teacher in Tk.We met the girls from 3/9 there.Mdm Azizan's house has a really nice view and she had Hersheys Kisses!It was so loud and noisy and havoc,well there were 20 of us.And I was so tired when I got home especially since I only came back at midnight after the concert.I slept like a baby (:

One of my absolute favourite songs.It's cool how it can relate to nearly everything.

I am at home on the 3rd day of Eid,sitting in front of the computer and blogging.Yesterday on the 2nd day of Eid,I went out with my family to Orchard,where I got a free bottle of shampoo for coloured hair.Go figure.And on the 1st day of Eid,I went to my grandmother's house and two other houses and that was all the raya visiting I did.Now don't get me wrong.I absolutely love Eid.The whole lively atmosphere,being able to eat after fasting for a whole month,visiting relatives and spending the day with the people I love and of course the good food and money but that's a different story.I don't have much family that I'm really close to in Singapore.My family's everywhere,mostly in Malaysia and since Eid doesn't fall during the school holidays like it used to in previous years,I don't get to do much visiting.And I don't know,it makes me pretty sad that I don't celebrate Eid with as much vigour and enthusiasm as I used to.I want to but I just don't get to.This year,most of the fasting month was during my exam period so I didn't get to savour that as well and then WHAM,Eid.And it really sucks that we still have to go back to school for at least 3 more weeks by which Eid would be over and I can't go raya-visiting with my friends.And what's sadder is that the spirit of Eid is dying,slowly,whether you accept it or not.Of course there are those that are always psyched about it but everyone's so busy with work and school now.Lesser people are sending out Raya cards,even lesser people are hanging out raya lights.It's just sad when you think about it.I miss the Eid celebrations when I was younger.Then,Eid always fell during the holidays and since most of my family's in Malaysia,naturally that's where my family always went.Eid was really happy and loud and noisy and I loved every minute of it cause my family's really huge and whacky and everyone's just really fun.One Eid,my whole family on my dad's side drove in a convoy from KL to Penang where we all bunked in my grandfather's house,and the abandoned house next door.Another Eid at my great-grandmother's house,my dad set off a firecracker and my cousins and I screamed when it exploded,having never heard one before living in Singapore where sadly firecrackers are banned.The same Eid, at my uncle's house,my cousins and I went up and down the street playing with sparklers in the night and on Eid morning,kids from the neighbouring houses would go to each house for food and money.It was so simple and yet fun.And I miss all of that.And I can't do that anymore now.Maybe we've all grown up or maybe we just don't have the time.I think it's more the latter cause night before Eid my cousins and I played with sparklers but anyway,I just wish Eid would fall during the holidays again or that we don't have to go to school after Eid.I can't do anything about it but I'll always treasure the really good Eid celebrations of previous years and hope those of the coming years would hopefully come as close.Eid this year,for the one day I celebrated it,was good.I got a fairly good amount of money and well,I did spend the day with the people I love most and I'm still waiting for pictures from Shereen.

So here's to a joyous Eid to those who are still celebrating.May you have all the fun and joy that I wish I could have.

I'm bored and I think The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants is awesome.I've read all four books and watched the first movie and am eagerly awaiting the second one.If you haven't read it,you should.I admit the concept of a pair of pants fitting 4 girls of different shapes and sizes seems loopy but look past that and you'll get a great story of friendship.Or maybe I love it so cause it reminds me of my very own sisterhood,with Zaf,Moo and Hanis.It's awesome seriously,unless you still think the whole pants-fitting-4-girls is silly.All I can say is,your loss dude.

Check out this song.Bailamos by Enrique Iglesias,my current earworm.I like songs that are Latin/Spanish-infused.Bailamos would be an example.Tu Amor by RBD is another.I think the infusion makes the song cooler,not to mention sexier.I mean Hips Don't Lie is pretty awesome,non? And tell me Enrique Iglesias isn't sexy.



Just tell me he isn't sexy.(You're not supposed to say he isn't and if you do,I'm gonna beat you up.I swear)

Okay so maybe my spur-of-the-moment-decision to cut my hair wasn't all that.I miss my long hair.I can't even braid my hair now.I mean I can but then all this hair bits would stick out.I shall really wait for my hair to grow out this time,patiently.But I don't actually mind my short hair.At least I don't sweat like a pig as Ain does,good lord.And anyway,change is good,non?

Kapoor,Mega,Ellai and I went to Parkway on the last day of school cause Kapoor and I wanted to buy tickets for the BEP concert,which Click 5 is opening for!Now I've got something to look forward to,besides Eid of course.Hanis won't go to the concert,I don't know about Moo and Zaf is still working on her folks.I can't believe Shuyin has passes to meet Click 5.She won some contest and got them darn passes.Damn.

And so the exams are finally O-V-E-R over.My one week break,due to my not sitting for any more papers and the marking days,began yesterday.I went out.I was bored.And so I cut my hair.Again.Previously I wanted to curl it and so I was waiting for it to grow long.But I got tired of waiting and so I decided to just cut my hair anyway.Which just really goes to show you how restless and easily bored I get.Oh but this one week break will definitely not bore me.There are plans to go out tomorrow.And I've got a whole bunch of newly-bought CDs that I haven't yet watched.And I've got the books I just borrowed from the library(yes I'm a geek,I know) and then there's Season 3 and 4 of One Tree Hill to watch online.So I'd say my one week is pretty occupied.Well-deserved break?Oh hell yeah.

I guess it's kinda good that we start our exams early cause then we finish early as well.When we started studying (albeit last-minute), others were still mucking around.And now when we're mucking around,they're going through hell.Like Zaf,Moo and Hanis are having their exams right now.As much as I'd love to rub it in their faces that I'M DONE,I shall instead wish them the best of luck.So here's to those still studying and having exams,good luck!While you're at that,I shall go watch tv now.Hmmm what shall I watch? (:
